The Department of Chemistry and Research Centre conducted ‘Alchemy’s Merry Chem 2020,’ the Christmas celebration of the Department. Various programmes such as Card Making, Icing the Cake, Carol Singing, Photography and Documentary Competitions were held.
The main Celebration was on 22December, 2020 at 11.30am. Prof. Lazar Thomas Mani, Former Head, Department of Commerce, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) gave the Christmas message. After the message winners of various events was announced by Dr. Nisha V S, Faculty Coordinator of the programme. I B.Sc Chemistry bagged the Prize for Carol Singing and Documentary Making. Soumya P D of II M.Sc Chemistry secured the First Prize for Card Making. The Winner of Icing on the Cake Competition was Ebin M sunny of I B.Sc Chemistry. Sana Al Majeed K A of I BSc Chemistry secured the Prize for the Photography Competition. The Student Coordinator of the event was Ms. Joyce Jose.
