The Department of Mathematics, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam celebrated ‘Merry Go Round’ on 23December, 2020, held through Google Meet platform. The official meeting began by 8:30 am with a prayer. The Christmas message was delivered by Dr. Sabu M C, Head of the Department of Mathematics.
The celebration began with melodious Christmas carols performed by Ms. Maria Mourine K M, Sr. Rincy, Ms. Sreelakshmi, Ms. Meera, Ms. Dhanya Joy and Mr. Lifin Antony from I M.Sc. Mathematics and Mr. Navneeth K. from III B.Sc. Mathematics. A Carol Competition was also conducted. Ms. Jeema Jose, Assistant Professor of the Department also shared a Christmas message. The Department also organized a Christmas Card Making Competition, a Christmas Decor Making Competition, a Letter to Santa Competition and a Skit Competition. Christmas greetings were also delivered by Ms. Golda Mary Joseph and Ms. Divya Mary Daise, Assistant Professors of the Department. Their wishes were accompanied by beautiful carols.
More than 90 participants including students and teachers actively took part in the online Christmas celebration.
