The Department organized a webinar on The Joy of Learning Mathematics on 22 December, 2020. The session was handled by Dr. Sabu M C, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Research Centre, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. He presented the keynote address on “The Contributions of Ramanujan in the field of Mathematics.” Master Juven Joss Jebin, student of Rajagiri Public School presented a session on “Impossible to Possible.” This was followed by a video presentation on “The Life of Srinivasa Ramanujan” by Mr. Bruce Mathew, HoD, Software Development. Ms. Ann Mary Teena , second year PG student of Mathematics, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) presented a session on “The Role of Mathematics in the Modern Era”. In the session she shared the importance of Mathematics and certain tips to make it interesting. The session was coordinated by Mr. Bruce Mathew with assistance from the student coordinator, Mr. Nikhil Johny. 48 participants were present for the event.
