Webinar on “Intellectual property right’’

On March 20^th 2021, Department of Business Management of St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) had conducted a webinar on the topic “Intellectual property right’’. The program started at 5 P.M. Student’s Program coordinator, Fairoose. M delivered the welcome speech and invited Ms. Anna Puthuran to take over the technical session. She made an authentic and a vivid speech about the topic, “Intellectual property right”. The webinar was followed by an interactive session, through which students have got a chance to clear their doubts regarding the topic. Program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Akhil Anil.

World day against child labor

On June 12th 2021, Department of Business Management in association with Office of the Dean, Student affairs St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) Celebrated World day against child labour. The Programme started at 10.am. The Programme started with Prayer song by Shabanam Khathum. Neouvin Joseph, Student of BBM Department delivered the welcome speech and Followed by the Presidential Address by HOD of BBM Department Asst. Prof. Niya Eddin. The chief guest Adv. Jayaprasad M.R Inaugurated the ceremony by giving ample information regarding Child Labour Act and its Provisions. After the Inaugural function, A video made by BBM Students regarding child labour was Presented and later on, a Short film ‘TRAFFIC’ based on the theme presented for the students. Jenet Joseph winded up the programme by delivering the Vote of thanks.

International Yoga Day

On June 21^st 2021, Department of Business Management in association with Office of the Dean, Student affairs St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) Celebrated International Yoga Day by conducting an online workshop based on the topic. Jenet Joseph, Student of BBM delivered the welcome speech and the chief guest Ms. Sai Priya, Yoga Trainer, YIC and MSC YOGA, The Founder of ‘Pranaatma Ayur Yoga headed the Yoga Workshop and Shared the importance of Yoga and its effects in life. Along with that, she showed some Yoga steps that can practice in day to day routine for the improvement of body and mental strength. An Interactive session held after the workshop, students as well as teachers cleared several doubts regarding the topic. As Ad Hasainar, student of the department winded up the programme by delivering the Vote of thanks.

World No Tobacco Day Celebration

On May 31^st 2021, Department of Business Management of St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) Celebrated World No Tobacco Day. The Programme started at 10.am. Asst. Prof. Niya Eddin, HOD delivered the welcome speech and moved to Oath Taking ceremony as part of the World No Tobacco Day Celebration. The chief guest Sri. Biji George T, DYSP, Crime branch, Alappey headed the Oath taking ceremony and given a short message to the students based on the tobacco use and its after effects. Asst. Prof. Marie Serene D Cruze winded up the programme by delivering the Vote of thanks.

World Environment Day celebration

On June 5^th2021, Department of Business Management of St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) conducted a selfie competition as part of World Environment Day.

“SELFIE WITH MY PLANT” was the competition name and the theme of the competition. It was an Interdepartmental photography competition. Several students participated in the competition and winners are awarded with e-Certificates. The Photographs are judged by Asst. prof. Niya Eddin (HOD) and Asst. prof. Marie Serene D Cruze.
