The Department of Computer Science and the Department of Commerce in association with the Department of International Affairs organised an International webinar on Opportunities in Japan on 15th October, 2020. The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Ermin D’Cruz, Entrepreneur, IT, Textile Export and Tourism, and TEDx Speaker, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. The main aim of the webinar was to assist the students in exploring career opportunities in Japan. Mr. Ermin D’Cruz discussed the educational options with scholarships and part time jobs for Indians in Japan and touched upon the possibilities of starting a new business and developing good entrepreneurial skills. Mr. Amal M R, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Mr. Jefrin Johnson, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce were the faculty coordinators. Ms. Anagha Ambi of the Department of Commerce and Ms. Sameeksha Krishnan of the Department of Computer Science were the student coordinators. More than 300 participants took part in the webinar.
