The Research Club Meetings of the Department continued into the month of December. The tenth meeting of Research Club 2020 was on 11December, 2020. The UG Student Project Presentations continued in this meeting. Presentations were made by Akhila Mary on Minkowski’s Fundamental Theorem, Nessy D’Souza on Differential Equations and Applications of Differential Equations, Mary Shinu Thomson on Catalan Numbers and Applications of Catalan Numbers and Angel Mary on Mathematical Analysis of Coral Reef Models in the presence of Ms. Divya Mary Daise S, the faculty coordinator and students of III B.Sc Mathematics. Each presentation included an abstract, importance and novelty of the topic, preliminaries, chapter-wise summary and conclusion.
The eleventh meeting of Research Club 2020 was on 17December, 2020 during which presentations were made by Sony Mary on Knot Theory and its Applications, followed by Ann Mary Tincy on Introduction to Cryptography and Amritha Mary P J on Graph Labelling and Graceful Labelling of Trees.
The twelfth meeting of Research Club 2020 was on on 18December, 2020 during which presentations were made by Vishal Pauly Vijay on Wiener Index and Wiener Polynomial for some Special Graphs, followed by Krishnaheera K S on Queuing Theory, Karthik N N on Graphs Determined by Polynomial Invariants, Rohith Sachidhanandhan on On the Number of Partitions of n into k Different Parts and Anjitha Manoj on Fourier Transform and it’s Applications.
