Placement Cell and IEDC of the Research Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, St Albert’s College (Autonomous) in collaboration with MYTOSCI (a leading online resource for updated information and technological enhancements in life science and allied subjects) organised a National Webinar on Career Prospects in Fisheries and Aquaculture on 8th August, 2020.
The session was handled by Dr. Deepak Jose, Scientist, Biological Oceanography Division, National Institute of Oceanography, Goa. He explained about the vibrant opportunities and academic openings available in different areas within the country and abroad for the fisheries graduates to explore and occupy. His presentation provided the students a clear idea about aspects on post-graduation opportunities, research openings, government and private Job Opportunities for fisheries and aquaculture graduates. The session was followed by a discussion were the participants asked their queries related to the presentation. Nearly 183 participants from all over India marked their presence for the webinar which was organized by Dr Ajith Thomas John, Head of the Research Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture(Regular), St Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam.
