As a part of the remembrance of the 75thHiroshimaDay, the Department of B. Voc Logistics Management organised an awarenesscampaign on Thursday, the 6th ofAugust,2020. Hiroshima day aims to raise awareness about the threat of nuclear weapons and the dangers of nuclear energy. The department conducted 3 events as [art of the awareness campaign – Poster Designing, Video Sharing on pros and cons of Nuclear Energy and Malayalam and English poetry writing on Peace.
In the Poster Designing competition, Jacquiline Johnson (IIIrd sem B. Voc Logistics) and Sanju Joseph (Alumnus of B. Voc Logistics) won the first and second prizes respectively.
In the Malayalam Poetry Writing competition, Chris Fedricks (Vth Sem, B. Sc Physics) won the first prize and Praise Bejoy (Alumnus of B. Voc Logistics) won the second prize.
And in the English Poetry Writing competition, Niranjana Suresh (Alumnae of B. Voc Logistics) and Ann Rose Joseph (Alumnae of B. Voc Logistics) won the first and second prizes respectively.
