ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE OBSERVATION
The department of Space Science hosted a programme to observe the annular solar eclipse that occurred on December 26, 2019. The department had arranged solar filters, telescope, and CCD cameras to make sure that the event is safely observed and recorded.
NIGHT SKY AND MOON WATCHING
The Department conducts Stargazing and Skywatching sessions for students and staff members of the college multiple times during the academic year.
ALBERTIAN SWACHATHA MISSION
As a part of the 150th Gandhi Jayanthi celebration, an awareness program was conducted in the Dept. of Space Science on 27 September 2019.
As a part of the mission the faculty members and students the department cleaned the area of St.Vincent lane, Banerjee road on 2nd October 2019. It was inaugurated by the Head of Department Prof. Abhinash John Peter. The students and teachers actively participated in the mission
