INDUSTRIAL VISIT AND INTERACTION WITH EMINENT PERSONALITIES
As part of curriculum our first year students had a IV to Space Physics Laboratory, TVM on 7th February 2019 and students had an interaction with Dr. Radhika Ramachandran, Director SPL, TVM
CHANDRAYAAN 2 LIVE BROADCAST (JULY 22, 2019)
The department hosted a screening of the live stream of Chandrayaan-2 Launch at Emmanuel Hall. The students were able to observe the launch of the prestigious Chandrayaan-2 mission. The department also organized a Q&A session after the launch to clarify doubts of the students regarding the mission and its details.
INTERNATIONAL SPACE WEEK (OCTOBER 4-10)
Photography Competition and Exhibition
The Photography Exhibition was conducted with selected entries from the Mobile Photography Competition conducted on the theme “Glimpses of Sun”. It was an opportunity for students
across the state to show off their skills in photography with a mobile phone.
Inter-Department Debate Competition
An Inter-Department level Debate Competition was held as part of Day 1 of the Space Week Celebrations. The topic for the Debate was “Should we try to make other Planets habitable or make Earth back to how it was?”.
