The Department of Computer Science, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) organised a two day national level online Faculty Development Programme on Exploring Virtual Learning Platforms in association with the Albertian Centre for Human Resource and Development on 16th and 17th of July. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K C Sunny, Vice Chancellor, NUALS, Kochi on 16 July 2020, at 10 am.
The FDP included five sessions. The session on Excel in Webinar Tools and Add Ons was handled by Mr. Shine Antony, Dean, Training and Development. The session on Exploring Digital Devices for Virtual Learning was handled by Mr. Amal M R, Asst. Professor, Department of Computer Science. The session on Digital Class using Google Meet Ad Ons was handled by Ms. Rachana Arora, Asst. Professor, Department of Computer Science. The session on Develop and Publish Your Own Content was handled by Ms. Sangeetha J, HoD, Department of Computer Science, and the session on Online Assessment and Gamification Tools was handled by Ms. Dhanya G S, Asst. Professor, Department of Computer Science. Around 70 participants from various states registered for the programme. An assessment was done at the end of the programme and certificates were issued to the qualified participants.
