About Sri. Aneish Rajan IRS
Sri. Aneish Rajan – IRS officer of 2008 batch Civil Services, currently holding the post of Joint Commissioner  customs preventive Commissionerate with all Kerala jurisdiction. Prior to this he was Joint  Commissioner of GST TVM and Deputy Commissioner Customs Kochi and from 2012 to 2015 he also headed the  Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence Kerala . Also worked in the  capacity of Assistant Commissioner in the Cochin Central Excise and Service Tax Commissionerate from 2010-2012.

Received Masters Degree and M.Phil. in Political Studies from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He had served as faculty member in Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi during 2007-2008.

His current research interests include -political theory, regional disparities and development with special focus on taxation, GST. He is founder trustee of  Centre for public Policy and Research, Kochi. Loves to read non-fiction, politics, literary theories, biographies, travelogues and have a collection of classical Carnatic & western –music. He is also trained in South Indian Classical dances.
