The members of the Department of Mathematics went on an online tour to visit the Queen of the Arabian Sea – Fort Kochi on the 30th of July, 2020. It was initiated by Dr. Sabu M C, the Head of the Department. The tour was guided by Chevalier Dr. Edward Edezhath, retired professor of the Department of English and current visiting faculty with the Post Graduate Department of English, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. The online visit covered the following historical places of Fort Kochi – Chinese Fishing Nets, Steam Boiler, Kaapiri Muthappan Shrine, Dutch Cemetery, St. Francis C.S.I. Church, Indo-Portuguese Museum, Cochin Bishop’s House, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica Church, Mattancherry Palace and Paradesi Synagogue. The online visit was a very unique virtual experience.
