The Department of Commerce (SF), St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam organised a National webinar commemorating GST day and National Chartered Accountants’ day on July 1st, 2020. The chief guest and resource person for the webinar was Chartered Accountant G Rangarajan, partner, Suri & Co. The session covered all the basic topics of GST including indirect taxes, slab rates, tax collecting authorities, and mechanism of levying of tax from common people, with a power point presentation which helped in ensuring a thorough understanding of the topics. It was a truly enlightening session for all the participants.
