‘Meraki,’ the Alumni Association of the Department of B.Voc Logistics Management was inaugurated on the 10th of October, 2020. The programme was graced by the presence of Fr. Jolly John Odathackal, the Assistant Manager and Fr. John Christopher Vadassery and Dr. Rosalind Gonzaga, the Vice Principals. There was also an invited talk by Dr. Jose Paul, Former Head of the Department of Logistics.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by an alumni meet, with Ms. Ann Lee Mathew, former faculty member, addressing the gathering. The official YouTube channel of the department was also launched on the same day by Ms. Neenu Jose, Head of the Department of Logistics, on behalf of Ms. Ann Lee Mathew. Ms. Sincy Ronny, former faculty member, also shared her experiences. Alumni representatives from each batch were also selected during the programme. Ms. Meenu Mukundhan was appointed the secretary and Mr. Nithin Francis the treasurer from the batch of 2014-17. From the batch of 2015-18, Ms. Karishma Ramachandran was appointed the secretary and Ms. Ann Canice D’Rozario the treasurer. From the batch of 2016-19, Mr. Ben Jose was appointed the secretary and Ms. Anjal Assise the treasurer. And from the batch of 2017-20, Mr. Hardin Rixon was appointed the secretary and Praise Bejoy Varghese the treasurer.
This was followed by experience sharing sessions, sharing memory videos, cultural programmes and fun games. The event was hosted and coordinated by Ms. Lakshmi G of the Department of Logistics.
