The Department of Logistics Management celebrated World Students Day, the birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in three sessions spanning across three days beginning on the 15th of October, 2020. The events were coordinated by Ms. Neenu Jose and student coordinators Mr. John Paul Mathew, Ms. Andrea K Alex, Mr. Amith Martin and Ms. Ketzia Salu.
The first of the three events was ‘Novalise 2020,’ an academic outreach programme specifically conducted for the students of Class 12. The event was conducted in three rounds of contests which included caption writing, essay writing and PowerPoint presentation. The second event was ‘Snehasparsham 2020,’ a social outreach programme conducted on the 15th of October, 2020 for specially abled students in collaboration with Karuna Special School, Nayarambalam. The final event was a resource talk, a national webinar on the topic Build a Bridge to a Bright Future by Mr. Raja Krishnamoorthy, Actor/director and an activist and motivational speaker on the 16th of October, 2020.
