The department association of Computer Science was inaugurated on 04 December 2017 at 2 pm by Dr. Sudheep Elayidom, Associate Professor, CUSAT in the Emmanuel hall. The program started with a prayer song by Mr. Allen Silverster, Semetser-1 student. Prof. Sangeetha J, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering, Dr. Titus Correya, Vice Principal delivered the presidential address and Prof. Shine Antony, Asst. Professor delivered vote of thanks. Dr. Sudheep Elayidom spoke about the importance of association in colleges and the role of IT in the society, in his inaugural address. The department association of Computer Science organized a technical talk on Data Mining on 04 December 2017 by Mr. M Vineeth Menon, Senior Associate, IBS, Kakkanad. He spoke about data mining, applications of data mining and its role in the present scenario. The program concluded by 3.30pm.
