The Department of Economics, St Albert’s College (Autonomous) conducted a Digital Poster Making Competition as part of the Kargil Vijay Diwas on 28th July, 2020. Students of II BA Economics made technical arrangements for the competition. The aim of the program was to salute and pay homage to the heroes of the Kargil war. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Benly B, Assistant Professor of Political Science, Department of Economics.
Students from different departments participated in the competition. The winners of the competition were declared on the 31st of July, 2020. Mr. Edwin Samson of III BA Economics won the first prize and Ms. Ann Mary Teena of II M.Sc Mathematics won the second prize.
The competition was judged by Ms. Linda George, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and Ms. Jilu Antony, Assistant Professor, Department of Travel and Tourism. The student coordinators of the program were Neeraj Nepolean, Athira Joshy, Akshay Augustine and Mukund B.
