The first academic council meeting of the year 2018-19 began with a silent prayer at 10.30 a m. Dr.M.L.Joseph, Principal welcomed the members of the academic council. Apart from the Heads of the various departments, Dr.Christy Fernandez, IAS, Former Principal Secretary to the President of India, Dr.K.V.Peter, Former VC, Kerala Agricultural University and Dr.K.A.Simon, Director, Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering, CUSAT, Academic experts nominated by the university Dr.Suresh.A, Dr.Paul Karamthanam, and Dr.Asa G Menon took part in the meeting.
Dr.M.A.Solomon, Member Secretary, Academic Council began the proceedings with the minutes of the last academic council held on 30th June 2017. It was passed unanimously by the members of the council. Thereafter, the various items mentioned in the agenda were discussed and subjected to the approval of the council. Twelve items were discussed in the meeting.
After fruitful discussions and considerations, the meeting came to an end by 1.30 pm. Dr.M.A.Solomon, Member Secretary, Academic Council proposed the vote of thanks.
