The department association of Computer Science started a program to be conducted as a series of technical speeches delivered by various resource persons on 14 December 2017. Prof. (Dr.) A. Ramachandran, Vice Chancellor of KUFOS inaugurated the program. Mr. Prasanth Menon took the first series of the Program.
The department association of Computer Science organized a one day workshop on android application development on 13 December 2017. A team from TechwingSys, Cochin conducted the workshop. They gave hands on training to the students for developing an android application. At the end of the training program, participation certificates were distributed to the students.
The department association of Computer Science organized a technical talk on Big Data Analytics on 06 December 2017 by Aptech group in the Emmanuel hall. The team talk about the big data and its importance in the business world. Also discussed the various tools and techniques used in big data analytics.
The department association of Computer Science organised a technical talk on Data Mining on 04 December 2017 by Mr. M Vineeth Menon, Senior Associate, IBS, Kakkanad. He spoke about data mining, applications of data mining and its role in the present scenario.
The department association of Computer Science was inaugurated on 04 December 2017 at 2 pm by Dr. Sudheep Elayidom, Associate Professor, CUSAT in the Emmanuel hall.
